The tournament is now USCF rated! NOTE: The standings listed on the USCF website DO NOT INCLUDE ANY TIEBREAKS!
They are often listed in a different order than the order in which we award the trophies, because our standings include the correct(ed) tiebreaks!

Information from the TD:

Please contact Larry Brown at Crown Trophy Company in Brooklyn to make arrangements for receiving trophies and plaques which were not claimed during the Award Ceremonies at the tournament: Call 718-769-4112.

Congratulations to all the prize winners!

If you had to cancel, we will refund your entry fee minus a $15 cancellation fee. If you rather keep it as credit towards next year's tournament, there's no deduction.

Our contributors

Kasparov Chess Foundation is the organization that makes the Greater New York Scholastic Chess Championship event possible.

Hard work and smart moves are contributed by Little House of Chess and Chess Center of New York together with an incredible staff.

New this year is Barclaycard! This organization has for several years now contributed to scholastic chess in multiple countries around the world. The project they focus most of their efforts on is Yes2Chess, with an internet chess server specially for children where a yearly international qualification competition is held. In 2015 it starts Monday January 5th, but your school can join in until Friday February 27th at the latest.
